Apple & Pear Glass Tea Light Holders

These apple & pear glass tea light holders have got to be one of my favourites. The apple has been decorated with cheerful violas and the pear with buttercups and forget-me-nots. This delightful pair of glass baubles are individual and quite unique, because they have been decorated with hand-picked and pressed flowers from the Cotswolds. These tea light holders would look fabulous hanging in the garden of a summers evening, or as decorations for the home.

The glass apple measures approximately 10 centimetres across by 12 centimetres high, and the pear approximately 9.5 centimetres across by 15 centimetres high. Each glass bauble comes with its own ivory coloured hanging organza ribbon and a white tea light candle.

Note: If hanging the baubles outdoors, do not leave them out in the sun, as they may fade and the rain with damage them.

The Flowers

The colourful purple and yellow viola flowers come in spring and always look joyful. Pale yellow primroses grow in amongst other foliage in the dappled sunlight and grow wild throughout my Cotswold garden. The delicate structure of the young cow parsley leaves set off the baubles with their striking green colour.

The colourful and joyful purple and yellow viola flowers on the apple glass bauble seem to be smiling, whilst the elegant blue flowers on their stems of the forget-me-nots look dainty and proud. The sunny yellow buttercups dancing on the pear bauble with the forget-me-nots look fabulous together. All the flowers have been collected and handpicked and pressed from Lechlade, in the lovely Cotswolds.
