This delightful Recycled Wine Bottle Tea Light Holder has been made using the bottom half of a wine bottle. The glass hurricane candle holder has been decorated with this exquisite piece of artwork ‘The Hare and Balloon’. The real flowers have been handpicked and pressed from the Cotswolds.
The glass hurricane wine bottle candle holder measures approximately 10 ¾ cm’s tall by 8.5 cm’s in diameter, and comes complete with a white tea light candle.
The Flowers
The sweet dancing daisies have been picked from my Cotswold garden. Daisies open to the sun in the day and close up at night, and are also known as ‘day’s eye’ daisies, with the Latin name of bellis perennis. Daisies are cheerful little white flowers with bright yellow centres, while some petals often have red or purple tips.
Buttercups are another gorgeous flower that I have used here, also known as Ranunculus Acris. The bright yellow flowers have glossy petals and can usually be seen in early summer shining brightly in grassy areas.

The dainty Cow Parsley with its umbles of tiny white pretty flowers can be seen growing along verges and grassy areas, swaying in the wind. The Cow Parsley is also known as Anthriscus sylvestris.
The Artwork for Recycled Wine Bottle Hare Balloon Tea Light Holder
The hare and balloon artwork looks just lovely with the real flowers on this recycled wine bottle tea light holder. The artwork has been painted using water colours by the very creative Louise Crowhurst from Lewes in Sussex.
