Wild Carrot and Fern Glass Tea Light Holder
A lovely autumnal handmade piece that has been decorated with real wild carrot flowers and fern leaves. The wild carrot and fern glass tea light holder has been frosted to give it a mystical wintry look, and the plants have been lovingly handpicked from the in-land port of Lechlade-on-Thames, which is situated in the Cotswolds.
Lechlade
The handmade glass tea light holder measures approximately 10 cm’s in diameter, and comes complete with a white tea light candle.
This would make a wonderful Christmas gift!
The Flowers and Foliage
Wild Carrot
The Wild Carrot plant which can be found growing in grassy areas, is also known as Daucus carota or Queen Anne’s lace. The dainty frothy wildflower is shaped just like a snowflake, so looks fabulous as a seasonal decoration.
Fern Leaves
The fern leaves are from the Yarrow plant Achillea millefolium. Yarrow plant flowers come in many different colours, but here the leaves have been used because they look like mini fir trees!
