Aquilegia Primrose & Hawksbeard Glass Tea Light Holder
Handmade Aquilegia Primrose & Hawksbeard Glass Tea Light Holder that has been decorated with real flowers, hand picked from a Cotswold garden. The flowers that have been used are two pretty Aquilegia’s in shades of pink, some delicate yellow Primroses which sit nicely with the Herb Robert Geranium leaves, and the small yellow flowers of the Hawksbeard plant. This glass tea light holder measures approximately 10 cm’s in diameter, and comes complete with a white tea light candle.

The Flowers and Foliage
Aquilegias are clump-forming herbaceous perennials with long-stalked basal leaves, and pretty bell-shaped flowers. Aquilegia Vugaris come from the family of plants called Ranunculaceae and can be seen in late spring to early summer.
Primroses can be seen growing in spring time and are also known as Primula Vulgaris. The primrose represents early youth and eternal love.
Smooth Hawksbeard flowers can be both an annual or biennial plant and with its long toothed leaves and bright yellow flowers, it is similar in appearance to the dandelion.
The Herb Robert Geranium, has tiny pink crane’s bill like flowers and has soft, delicate, lace like leaves. It grows in shaded areas of the garden, in rocky areas or along paths.
